Season 2 gave us Tory, Season 3 gave us Shawn from juvie. So I expect to see new members in Cobra Kai next season (including Shawn). Rumors are Leo Howard from Kicking It will be in it as well and he kind of looks like Mike Barnes.

I also think that Kreese and Silver will manipulate Robbie the same way they did Daniel in "Karate Kid 3", hurt Johnny through Robbie the same way they hurt Miyagi through Daniel. We probably will see a return of the sticks and pipes for Robbie to punch and kick.

I honestly think that's true for all TV shows and most shows now especially on cable and streaming services get it. It's about quality, not quantity. Do 10 episodes a season, move on to the next season. If "Cobra Kai" gets 50 episodes in 5 years, that's 50 quality shows and an incredible body of work.

2021-02-20 02:22:48 +0000 UTCI don’t think a new character will join cobra kai. Feel like there’s an even keel in terms of bad blood or rivalry now. Miguel and Robbie obviously go 1-1. Sam and Tori 1-1. I think people forget how bad hawk hated the Tyler(calling him Lip etc) and how much him joining cobra kai affected Hawk. Season 4 is set up so well and honestly it could be perfect for the series to end. I don’t want to show to drag on so to me it either ends season 4 or 5.

2021-02-19 11:52:55 +0000 UTCOMG I am so happy to have watched this early in the morning today. I knew you both were going to love this episode. So many questions going into Season 4. I definitely think Terry Silver is coming back. As for Mike Barnes, I think that Sean Kanan is training for the show in real-life and they've started filming Season 4. As you said, there are so many possibilities for Mike Barnes to return. Sean Kanan said he liked the idea of Barnes joining the military after "Karate Kid III" and he straightened himself out, serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. My prediction is that Barnes gets a call from Terry Silver or John Kreese and, initially, he blows them off and wants nothing to do with them until they plant the seed in his head about vengeance against Daniel LaRusso. I could also see a scenario where Barnes pulls a Terry Silver from "Karate Kid III" and goes to Daniel and "apologizes" for his past behavior, finds out about the new Daniel/Johnny dojo, and Barnes reports back to Kreese and Silver. I also really liked the scene between Miguel and Daniel in Episode 9. It was nice to see them have a bonding moment and one thing I've learned about this show is nothing is put in by accident. The scene where Miguel is looking at the car made me think that at some point Daniel's going to give the car to Miguel. Maybe in the future if/when Miguel becomes his son-in-law, but I think next season we will see Miguel truly embrace the teachings of Miyagi. His relationship with Johnny is more father-son whereas with Daniel I think it will be more like uncle-nephew. I also think we will see a scene next year where Daniel and Johnny visit Miyagi's grave and Johnny will be talking to Miyagi and saying something like, "I just want to say thank you for saving my life." Not only did Miyagi save Johnny's life, but so did Daniel. Whatever feud they had I think is gone because the catalyst was Ali. Now that they both reconciled and made peace with Ali, they're able to make peace with each other. I still think they'll clash from time to time about their respective karate teachings and I could see Johnny mocking some of Miyagi-Do's methods and Daniel doing the same with Eagle Fang's, but ultimately I think what will happen is that Daniel and Johnny will learn teamwork and combine their teachings into a hybrid: the offense of Johnny combined with the defense of Daniel. What's going to happen is they're going to create a new form of karate that's going to make them the most badass dojo in the Valley and the biggest recipient will be Miguel. For some reason, I think that Kreese will die at the end of Season 4 and, ironically, it could be performing an act of mercy. I believe that before the show ends that we will see Kreese either die or redeem himself through an act of heroism. Maybe he will save Johnny's life which could cause a conflict with Johnny's emotions. Again, I know nothing and I have no inside information, just a gut feeling. I'm like you, Nikki and Steven.
