2021-08-13 01:31:55 +0000 UTCTeach's calmness is unnerving. We saw Lowe be a psychopath and Flint's rage and Vane's brutality but Teach's calm, almost polite nature is something we haven't seen before.

It's not really a spoiler in the context of the show either as there is no big reveal of his nickname. Stephen said what I always thought about Jack which is that no one really fears him. Those crews would never take money from Flint or Vane and then no do the job.

2021-08-13 01:27:54 +0000 UTCSpeaking on the unpredictability of the story, this show is the definition of “I didn’t know I wanted that until they showed me” What an incredible introduction to Teach. He has an aura to him that is both calming and terrifying. It might be my favourite intro of a character. Agree with your comparisons between Flint and Eleanor, they’re definitely similar in many ways. Also like that you guys understand the situation she’s in. She has a choice between being hanged or betraying the person that killed her father, not really a choice if you ask me. She’s like my 15-20th favourite character in the show but I completely understand her decisions. When Vane said “sitting on Spain’s gold, on England’s island” you know shits about to go down. Finally “I will do great violence”, I mean come on, can someone be more badass
