A quick history note is that Spain & England have gone back to war (not over the Urca gold) so Nassau isn't a top priority to either of them right now. Rogers is left to fight the pirates alone and he can't just walk away because his money and debts are wrapped up in the place. Madi is Queen Boss and I love her.

2021-09-30 17:04:33 +0000 UTCEach season of Black Sails begins with a bang hence why I love it so much, Silver and Flint have one the best character arc I've seen in a tv show ever love them both, Rogers actor is great cause he makes me hate that character a lot and now he has Eleanor playing the "Real Housewives of Nassau" which is amazing revenge cause of what she did to Vane.

2021-09-30 13:54:23 +0000 UTCBlack Sails premiers are almost as good as their finales. Another ep where you’re reminded this show can do spectacle just as well as story & characters. Loving how Flint is interacting with Madi. He’s so far talked down to almost every character in this show but not Madi. Somehow him being so awkward at trying to comfort her make him even more endearing. You can tell he respects her a lot and deservedly so. Also interesting to note while Silver has heard the story of Long John Silver, he probably still thought himself as just Silver. But him hearing ‘mysterious character x’ calling him by that name feels like that transformation into this legend is actualising. ps even though I’ve come around on Eleanor some, Nikki’s hate for her is quite enjoyable :)
