This show truly is the best at completely changing directions when you least expect it. During my first watch I too had no idea how this story would end even though there's only 6 eps left. Love the symbolism at the end there. Btw that gate under the fort sure has had some prominent screen time in this show lol. And Silver's "We are at our least rational, when we are at our most vulnerable" might be my fav quote of the series. A true life lesson.

2021-10-21 07:12:34 +0000 UTCJust to answer the question about if there's a pirate who has the job of scraping the barnacles off the bottom, we actually saw them do this in season 1 when they tilted the ship by tying it to trees. They do this when they are planning on sailing as fast as they can to reduce the drag of the water.
