She is so strong as a character, and her story so compelling - she's essentially going on "the hero's journey" and comes out the other side wounded, victorious, and transformed. It could've been her fighting any kind of mythical monster or supernatural thing, but having it be a Predator just made it that much more fun and interesting, because (unlike her or the French trappers) we know what it is. I'm so glad Nikki felt that moment at the end when she's being honored - it always gets me, as does the scene where she and her mom are independently grieving over the loss of Tabe, miles separated yet together in their heartbreak. I wish I could've heard Nikki talk about that - the emotional and character side of the movie in addition to the action and violence. So, so well done. And the first movie in history to be available entirely in a Native language. It's clear that there were people behind this film who cared a lot. (And if you haven't already heard: that beautiful dog was actually a shelter rescue that they trained for this film! Amazing.) Thanks guys, this is why I'm subscribed.

2022-08-12 21:21:00 +0000 UTCI'm actually shocked you're reacting to this and not some other movie. The Predator in this movie looks so bad ass. The Predator franchise has been redeemed. I love the whole hunter and prey thing they were doing like who's the real hunter and who is really the prey. I really liked how they portray Naru as a strong woman lead without going woke with it. This movie I would probably call my favorite. I really like this movie. I heard they're doing a sequel to this and we're also getting a Alien movie and tv show under new ownership of Disney World Order lol

2022-08-12 08:17:09 +0000 UTCI commented on the YouTube channel but not here on Patreon where I’ve joined. This was a great movie. Naru was a badass. Her brother too. The cinematography was great as was the action. Loved it as much as the first Predator movie. The second not so much but I have to say, I enjoyed Alien vs Predator (2004). It had a great storyline, of course lots of action and a twist that I really liked. Ya’ll might consider it. Love ya, love your show!
