At the beginning of the episode, when Hild threw water over Uhtred the were in a place called Lichfield. Its pronounced Litchfield. I live about 6 miles away. It's a beautiful City now with a stunning Cathedral. I loved watching this with you on Patreon rather than the shortened version on YouTube. You guys introduced me to this show and it only equal to me is Game of Thrones. I love it, so thank you xxx

2022-09-06 20:04:42 +0000 UTCWe've just met so many epic characters in this one episode alone and more to come. Let's go season two!

2022-09-06 15:27:19 +0000 UTCBecause the show spans decades, one thing you'll have to get used to is that some characters never seem to age. In Aelswith's case, in this episode, she's played by Eliza Butterworth, an actress who was at this time in her mid-20s and who is roughly six months older than Millie Brady, who plays her grown daughter.

2022-09-06 13:55:07 +0000 UTCYou definitely have heard of St. Cuthbert both in this show and likely in other shows like Vikings. Beocca mentioned him in the first episode and like many religious leaders back then, you never can tell whatβs real. The bishop thought Uhtred was the king and then just shifted gears because heβs full of it

2022-09-06 13:08:02 +0000 UTCI am excited for this season and your reactions to it, Guthred gives me the creeps and I always found it weird that as someone released from slavery that he is always in everyone's personal space. For the conversation you guys had before starting season 2 I think one of the main contributing factors to Alfred always questioning Uhtred even after everything he has done for him even with Uhtred's missteps is that they are not of the same faith. Uhtred has no problem with it but everyone he comes into contact with even when he helps them they always hold it against him.
