Guys I've been waiting for you to get this point. Don't get me wrong, the show doesn't have a bad episode. Most episodes are like the last of the season. I'm not gonna lie, the next two I've been dying to see you guy's reactions. It's such a well written show. Honestly, I've watched it so many times but the acting and storyline are second to non. At the end of it all I'd love to know how it compares to Vikings for you? I know Vikings is possibly your favourite show but IMO The Last Kingdom blows it out of the water. Its brilliant. Anyway, I'll keep refreshing my emails waiting for the next one π€π³π±ππ‘ππ€ I think they sum it up π x

It was also said earlier in the episode "the king is just a ghost now, nothing more than that". Such good writing. So excited for the next episodes.

So unique. But, I feel they could have made a better choice of an actress. She's beautiful, no doubt. And she didn't do a horrible job. But, I don't know what it is...I just think another actress could have been more terrifying.

It documents the events year by year going all the way back to when the Anglo-Saxons first arrived in Britain in the 5th century but is actually believed to have been mainly written by King Alfred and his scribes in the late 9th century in order to create a history for his vision of "England". That is what those pages are supposed to be - what in real life is our greatest contemporary source for the events taking place in The Last Kingdom
