you should try muting the audio on Netflix, and listening to the audio from Nikki and Stevens reactions. that's what I was doing before I got use to syncing both audios.

I second that about removing the show audio, been meaning to comment this since the start of black sails haha! although I’m near enough a master when it comes to syncing audio now! But I have found that about ten minutes before the end of the episode the audio always goes out of sync, which is frustrating. But I love your content, so I’m certainly not criticising, keep doing what you do 🙌🏻

yeah, Alfred took Uhtred's kids too 😂😂; made his son a Christian! I feel like Nikki missed the plot on the offer Edward made to Uhtred, he was definitely offering him more than Alfred ever did.

3 episodes a week would be sweet. Lol. I had to join your patreon after I heard some of your teases about having these episodes out way before YouTube. You got me, lol. Still getting used to syncing 2 screens. Kinda hard to get synced perfectly. Ever thought about removing the show sound from these. That way the screens wouldn’t have to be synced perfectly. Your guys’ comments and reactions could be a little off without affecting the show, but when the show sound isn’t perfect, it’s really noticeable. I’ll still watch either way. You guys are great.

These next 3 episodes are amazing and Siggtrygr's arrival is a big part of that. Edward has been frustrating this season but also in fairness he hasn't had it easy and has been trying his best but bad advice and being young have made things difficult, this episode you do see him trying his very best and he makes a lot of good chess moves this episode. The more I rewatch this season the more I'm like damn Edward had so much difficult stuff to deal with especially for such a young king because first time watching I was very frustrated by him and felt like he made so many mistakes and was doing an awful job which he kinda is but I'm definitely now appreciating the nuance to his character and his decisions. It's feels realistic that being so young and being the son of Alfred the Great and dealing with that pressure and all the craziness that Edward would make lots of mistakes and struggle.

I think Edward gets a bad rap from these episodes. Thing is what could he really have done. He is basically trying to keep everything from falling apart , with the Mercian Eldermen ready to tear their own lands apart. Edward had been trying to steer things in the best direction he could see, with no truely good options, and unfortunately some very bad advice.
