Time had flown by since the date with Yasaka, a LOT of time, around 7 months in fact, leaving around 10 months before “canon” would come around, 10 months to get a bit more done. 7 Months was a lot of time in Underworld speak, and it was a lot of time to Morgan as well

During these months, she had continued to grow her potions business, a business that was already one of the largest in the Underworld, but thanks to some deals with major families, it was now growing into an Empire of its own, as more potions were developed, released, and sold. And no matter how hard people  tried, none of them could find ways to recreate them, or even really steal them, thanks to the security measures that Morgan had put up in every shop and factory. 

Morgan had developed new potions that would grant the wielder momentary immunity to fire, potions that allowed the user to breathe underwater, potions that dealt with some of the most powerful poisons on Earth, potions that would regenerate the users demonic energy reserves, and more. 

She had also started to begin production of things other than potions, called “Scrolls”. These “Scrolls” were basically one time use demonic spells/attacks that could be used to defend or attack when the user doesn’t have much energy remaining, or needs a bit of a stronger attack they themselves cannot make. It was mostly for the weaker devils in society, but it was quickly becoming popular as well, especially in the Noble circle for the heirs, just so they have a defense for themselves. 

These scrolls were all completely banned from the rating games, thanks to the boost it could give, being seen as “Unfair”. But some of the unofficial games had been using them as of recently. The absolute “Strongest” scroll that Morgan was able to produce at the moment, was the “Ultimate Scroll” which could create an Ultimate class attack or ultimate class barrier, but only once. This scroll was sold in an auction for hundreds of millions, and was bought up by an unknown buyer. 

Morgan knew who it was, thanks to the spells and defenses that were put on the scroll. She also knew that the man had given it to his little sister for her protection, in case anything ever happened. 

With the growth of her personal potions business, came the growth of her land. The city that she owned was quickly beginning to grow larger as more job opportunities than ever were offered. A lot of them for from the “Mochan” business. The potions business paid them well, and more than that, led to free potions for sickness, or discounts mattering on the potion. 

Her own mansion was now increased in size through her own hard work, and a bit of magic. Her bedroom especially, as she increased the size of her bed to acclimate to the amount of people that now slept in it with her. She had long since given up on stopping them from climbing into bed with her at night, and got used to being surrounded by her adorable peerage as she slept, with Zekka joining them at night now. 

The power levels of the peerage had all gone up a bit, with Issei finally getting into the very bottom levels of Ultimate Class, while Valerie was finally at “High” High class. The rest had stayed mostly the same, besides growing their power and control over touki as Yasaka continued to train them in the art. 

Speaking of Yasaka, her and Morgan’s relationship had continued swimmingly, as they had gone on several dates since the first, and regularly played together online. Yasaka had come to love COD, with the two regularly playing that and Gears of War together all the time. They even got Kunou on sometimes when they played games that were more appropriate. 

Their relationship had grown to the point that it was hard to tell if they were dating or not, with them regularly making out around Yasaka’s home, usually away from prying eyes. The makeout sessions have never grown beyond that, but Morgan knew it was only a matter of time before it did, as the woman had already started to climb on her lap during their little “Sessions” using it as an excuse to grind up against her.  

Morgan doubted it’d be long before she and Yasaka were officially together. 

The other peerage members that knew of their relationship (aka all of them) were…quite jealous, but after Yasaka had done her one on one sessions with each of them, they were all creepily giggling by the end of it. So Morgan had a feeling it was only the start of new relationships. 

Besides her relationship with Yasaka herself, she had also been looking out for the Lord of House Naberius, and after putting a few of her peerage up to the task, she had found a few leads to find the man. But it was going to be a while before she could actually get rid of that little issue. 

Over these months, Morgan’s personal progression had grown a bit. With her primarily focusing on growing her Touki, and more than that, her new sacred gear, Grendel Buster. 

Grendel Buster had proven to be an absolutely monstrous little sacred gear in her hands, as it would basically make her a walking demonic tank that took even the strongest punches from her peerage with little difficulty. She could take around 15 [Reinforcement]’s before it was too much for her body to handle, and she began to break down. The Gravity control had been very helpful, being abused in combination with the weights on her body (That was now over 10 tons in total on her) and the already existing gravity her body was put under. 

Over these months, she had also been looking for ways of recruiting her next peerage member. The woman she initially wanted to go with, Suzaku Himejima, was a bit of a difficult person to recruit at the moment, thanks to her background, so she decided to push recruiting her off, until she had a proper way of doing it. That, and she needed to actually meet and grow closer to her before she can even think of recruiting her. 

So instead, she sought out someone else. She had 2 knights at the moment, with 1 piece remaining from Sebastian’s evil pieces, this meant that she could recruit one final knight for her peerage, and while there were a few options that she could go with, she ended up deciding on finding and recruiting the one who carried the spirit of “Joan of Arc” aka, Jeanne. 

Finding the girl hadn’t been too difficult, as she had been in France, in some sort of group home for Orphans. Said group home was…not a good place, and led to her fleeing from them, and put her in a position that was similar to what Issei was going through when she found her. Basically…she was homeless, and had been for quite some time now.

[4 months ago, flashback]

Walking through the streets of Paris, Morgan was walking alongside Valiana, who decided to get out of the mansion for the first time in a while. 

“So this is Paris? It’s…a bit…of a shit hole isn’t it?” Valiana said, as they walked through it. 

“...Yeah you're not wrong. I guess all that “City of Love and Romance” crap was just…crap” Morgan said, cringing as she ignored the rather strong scent that came from some of the alleyways. 

“Well, at least the Eiffel tower is kinda cool” Valiana said, looking at the large tower that was the centerpiece of the entire city. 

“I guess it is, isn’t it?” Morgan said with a small smile, looking at Valiana with warmth. The girl blushed slightly at the luck, tucking a hair behind her ear. 

“Wh-What’re you staring at me for?” 

“Just thought you look beautiful, that’s all” Morgan replied with a grin. Valiana blushed a brighter pink, before Morgan stopped as someone briskly walked past her, bumping into her. 

“Ah ah ah, not so fast” Morgan said, catching the person's arm before they could walk off. 

“Ow! Hey, let go of me!” The person replied with a yell, as Morgan got a good look at her, her eyes widening slightly in recognition. 

Long blonde hair, powerful blue eyes, a gorgeous, borderline divine beauty, and a perfect figure. This was Jeanne, but she looked a bit…different than what Morgan had remembered from the anime. Eerily similar to someone from another universe, another Jeanne. 

‘Why does she look so similar to Jeanne from Fate? Is this something that the being that sent me here had changed? Are there others out there that look similar to their Fate counterparts? Or even worse, have similar powers? Definitely going to need to look into this immediately’ Morgan thought, realizing that she’d need to look into this. She doubted it was some sort of merger between Fate and DxD, as she would 100% have noticed, but it seemed that certain people might look different than normal. 

“Are you going let me go, or not?!” Jeanne said, trying to pry herself free, only to fail miserably. 

“And are you going to give me what you stole back, or are you going to keep trying to run off? And I suggest you don’t try and bring out that weapon of yours, I don’t think either of us want to make this situation any worse” Morgan said, noticing that this Jeanne definitely had something more than just a mere Blade Blacksmith. And she had a feeling it had something to do with Jeanne d’Arc, perhaps even some sort of replica/mimic of her noble phantasms from Fate. 

Whatever it was, it only made Morgan more interested in her. 

“What? I didn’t steal an-” Jeanne was cut off as Valiana walked over and snatched Morgan’s wallet back from Jeanne’s pocket. The surrounding people just ignored the incident and walked past, not caring enough to intervene. 

“You sure? Because I’m pretty sure this is hers” Vailana said with a deadpan as she handed the wallet back to Morgan, who put it back in her pocket. 

Jeanne at this, paled as she realized she was caught. 

“Pl-please don’t call the cops! I just needed money to eat, that’s all!” Jeanne explained, fear beginning to fill her. She didn’t want to go to jail or anything, and she doubted she’d survive if she did. 

Glancing at Valiana, Morgan slowly smiled “How about instead of stealing money for a meal, I’ll just buy you one?” Morgan said, as Jeanne’s eyes widened.

“But I stole from you” Jeanne said in surprise. The other times she had gotten caught stealing, she had been beaten black and blue. 

“Yeah well, I’ve got a heart of gold. Now c’mon, let’s go get you a meal” Morgan said, walking off as Jeanne’s eyes widened and she ran after them. 

‘Looks like I’ll be getting my last knight today’

[Flashback End]

She didn’t get her last knight that day, but around a week later, after finding the girl struggling to breathe after being rather viciously attacked by another homeless person. She had given the girl the offer then and there, and she took it, even after Morgan informed her that she could hear her without the evil pieces. 

She had taken to the Peerage well, and had almost instantly hit it off with Lint and Zekka, joining them in their sparring matches, and quickly growing in swordsmanship under the mentorship of Reina. The girl had risen to “Middle” High Class in 4 months of growth, which was…incredible. 

But it wasn’t this that had really got Morgan’s attention, it was the fact that even after turning into a devil, Jeanne could still use her sacred gear that made holy swords, and even more than that…she seemed to be immune/resistant to their effects, even without the aid of Valerie. Something that Morgan realized was due to her having the spirit of the original “Joan” or perhaps being her reincarnation. Either way, it proved to be an incredible boon for her peerage, and for Jeanne herself. 

Naturally with the new addition of a peerage member, she had gotten her 11th fanon maker usage, and her 11th sacred gear. 

[Frostveil Nexus | Sacred Gear - Frostveil Nexus grants the user control over absolute zero temperatures and manipulation of ice, drawing inspiration from the frigid essence of Niflheim.

1. Absolute Zero Aura: The user can generate an aura of absolute zero temperatures within a certain radius, instantly freezing any matter within its reach. This aura can be expanded or contracted at will, allowing for precise control over its effects.

2. Cryokinetic Manipulation: The user gains the ability to manipulate ice at will, shaping it into various forms such as weapons, barriers, or constructs. The ice created by Frostveil Nexus is exceptionally durable and can withstand high levels of physical and magical attacks.

3. Frozen Time Distortion: By manipulating the extreme cold, the user can distort the flow of time within their immediate vicinity, slowing down or even freezing the movement of objects or opponents. This ability can be used defensively to evade attacks or strategically to gain the upper hand in combat.

4. Blizzard Manifestation: The user can summon intense blizzards at will, shrouding the battlefield in swirling snow and ice. These blizzards not only obscure vision but also sap the strength and vitality of opponents caught within them, weakening their movements and abilities. 

5. Rimebound Empowerment: As the user masters Frostveil Nexus, they become increasingly resistant to cold-based attacks and environmental hazards. Additionally, they can enhance their physical attributes and combat prowess by channeling the icy energy of Niflheim, granting them heightened strength, speed, and endurance.

This Sacred gear does have several weaknesses. 

1. *Temperature Regulation:* While the user can control extreme cold, they must be cautious not to inadvertently lower their own body temperature to dangerous levels. Prolonged use of Frostveil Nexus without proper control could result in frostbite or hypothermia

2. *Energy Consumption:* The manipulation of absolute zero temperatures and ice requires a significant amount of Energy. Extended battles or the use of high-level abilities may exhaust the user's energy reserves, necessitating periods of rest or energy replenishment

3. *Vulnerability to Heat:* Despite their affinity for cold, the user is particularly vulnerable to heat-based attacks or environments. Exposure to intense heat can weaken their abilities and render them more susceptible to damage

4. *Physical Strain:* The exertion required to wield Frostveil Nexus, especially during intense combat situations, can impose a considerable physical and mental strain on the user. Overexertion may lead to fatigue, decreased reflexes, and diminished combat effectiveness. Created by Ragnorshade]

The sacred gear had been a welcome addition to her arsenal, as she had gotten a brand new weapon for her future fights. The sacred gear would be powerful against certain…foes that she would be dealing with in the future, and while it wouldn’t be completely unstoppable, it would be strong in her hands, especially when combined with her poisons. 

With the new power, she had risen to “High” Ultimate Class just at base, and “Peak” Ultimate Class when she started to use her touki in tandem with her demonic energy. 

At the moment Morgan was sat in her office, humming as she sipped on her coffee, looking over the earning reports for the week. 

She was cut off from this, as the door to her office slowly opened, revealing Levinia. 

“Um, Morgan, you’ve got a letter” Levinia said, seemingly nervous as she handed a letter to Morgan. 

Glancing down to it, her eyebrow shot up to the sky at the sight of the Bael logo on the back of it. 

“Thanks, Levinia” Morgan said with a smile as Levinia walked out of the room. 

Ripping the seal open, Morgan read through the note as her eyebrows shot higher and higher, wide eyed as she read through it all. By the end of it, she let out a small laugh as a wide grin formed on her face, getting to her feet. 

Opening her mouth, she spoke. 

“Looks like it’s time to meet the Heir of the Bael family. It’s time to meet…Sairaorg”

The next chapter will be the meeting with Sairaorg and some more. 

I decided to spice the fic up a tiny bit, by adding in Jeanne (and a couple of other) characters that are more in line with those they are the “Reincarnation” of, like Jeanne and Jeanne D’Arc. There’ll be a couple more, and all of them will be joining Morgan’s peerage. 

Morgan will have a large peerage, but Asia will NOT be in it. I’ve decided that instead, she’ll be a cute little sister that Morgan can spoil to hell and back. 

Morgan won’t be getting any more peerage members until canon rolls around, as she’s got enough for now. She will get more during canon though, and at a faster pace. 

Sorry about not uploading this last night, but I ended up staying later than I thought after the Superbowl  (and laughing as Mahomes and Kelce got absolutely obliterated. Plus watching Kendrick Lamar crip walk on Drake’s corpse was fun) and was too tired to write a chapter, at least, too tired to write one of good quality.
