Kind of a shit move, tbh, but other creators have gone to great details as to why it's a shit move so most of you probably already have a good idea about what's going on. All that's left to see is if they reverse the decision on account of so many creators losing so many patrons 'cause of this (I haven't yet, but if any of you choose to remove their pledge because of the fees I completely understand). So. Alternatives. 'Fraid I don't have any: I planned on making a ko-fi page but that was gonna be exclusively for SFW stuff under a different name, and I'm pretty sure Liberapay requires all your output to be Free Culture (i.e. licensed CC-BY or CC-BY-SA). Kickstarter's making their own alternative called Drip, but it's in closed beta and I don't even know if they'd allow stuff this fetish-y (they allow drawn vanilla porn, though—just look at Iron Circus's many many smut books). So yeah, that be all. Shit sucks but until the lights come back I can't exactly research this stuff comfortably (it's December and still no signs of power coming back because this is a shit island and to have hope of it improving is to be a fool).
