Plans for TittyMagic 4.x
Added 2022-04-10 15:22:38 +0000 UTCThe below items will be priorities for the next release as they build upon and improve the features that were just added in 4.0. For other planned items, check the bottom of the the previous roadmap post!
Complete freedom to tweak physics [✔ Added in 5.0]
Though 4.0 did introduce more customizability, there's still work on that front. I want to offer complete freedom in tweaking the breast physics settings by using manual overrides on settings that are currently forced to a specific static value by the plugin, and offsets on other settings that are dynamically adjusted by the plugin. It's not 100% clear yet how it'll work exactly, but that's the basic idea.
This is a double edged sword in that it makes it pretty easy to mess up the physics, and there's a risk that the added configurability can make the plugin less easy to use. On the other hand, it's completely optional, and it's always possible to fall back to default un-tweaked settings.
Better support for futa breasts, and female breasts when soft body physics is disabled [✔ Added in 4.1]
Futa breasts are basically female breasts with soft body physics disabled. Therefore, the improvements that need to be made to futa compatibility will also apply to female breasts when soft physics are disabled.
Currently the support is there but it's unpolished. At the very least, the way futa breasts morph needs to be improved. The physics settings applied by the plugin by default can probably also be improved.
In addition, I want to try to get force based morphing to work for futa breasts and when soft physics is disabled. There's a chance it'll look weird or not very smooth, but it's worth a try.
Investigate possible improvements to dynamic morphing
There's two issues I want to try to find solutions to in the short term:
1) Even with hard colliders disabled, there's still some collider near the base/outer edge of the breast that can get triggered and cause breasts to bounce unnaturally. It might be the pectoral joint's collider. It should be disabled so that all collision is based on the soft body physics. If I do manage to disable it, physics settings might need to be updated since the collider may be contributing to how easily breasts move in 4.0. Needs experimentation 😏 [✔ Added in 4.1]
2) Currently, gravity doesn't morph breasts enough in the forward/back direction when mass is low. This is because the forward/back morphing is driven by the pectoral joint which is what gives breasts their mass, and the lower the mass, the less the pectoral joint will move due to the force of gravity, and the less morphing you'll get. To solve this issue I'll try to apply some chest angle based morphing simultaneously with the force based morphing for a combined effect. This might be surprisingly challenging or surprisingly easy, we'll see. [➡ Moved to 5.x]

"1) Even with hard colliders disabled, there's still some collider near the base/outer edge of the breast that can get triggered and cause breasts to bounce unnaturally. It might be the pectoral joint's collider." Tried it, and it is the pectoral collider. It was easy to turn it off. Next step is to see how the 4.0 physics works with the collider disabled! Most likely some changes will be needed to the settings, especially for larger breasts which probably rely quite a bit on the pectoral collider to get them to move.
