TittyMagic 5 alpha 5
Added 2022-07-13 11:44:19 +0000 UTCThis update contains mostly bug fixes and small usability improvements and UI changes, but also a few functional changes.
Bug fixes
- Queueing another recalibration now correctly prevents continuous updates to morphs/physics, now the second recalibration actually works
- Grab moving the person atom with Freeze Physics While Grabbing checked now prevents continuous updates to morphs/physics (this caused overkill breast deformation due to the frozen physics)
- Fixed issue with nipple erection slider affecting nipple multipliers of all soft physics values instead of just spring and damper
- Fixed error when closing the plugin UI on a futa character
- Fixed an issue in recalibration where the wrong breast mass value was used during simulation of downward gravity if mass was set manually
- Fixed an issue where having a physics parameter window open would show incorrect values in the multiplier sliders when closing/opening plugin UI while in the parameter window
- Fixed an issue where breast mass was not stored to the scene/preset save file if the Auto-update mass checkbox was unchecked, causing mass to be set at the minimum 0.100 value when loading the save
Physics
Offsetting Right/Left Angle Target now pulls breasts together or pushes them apart rather than adjusting the offset in the same direction for both breasts. You can now use this to adjust how close together breasts are just like you may have used to do in F Breast Physics 1 tab, and the plugin will still dynamically change the breast angle when the chest is tilted left or right.
Improved the way nipple erection affects physics. The amount of fat spring and damper on the nipple now increases more than before, and it also increases on the areola. The effect on spring and damper is greater the smaller the breasts.
Joint spring is reduced a bit more when upside down, and a bit less when leaning back/forward/sideways. Not really a difference you'd notice, this was just to ensure that there's still some slight change for a hanging upside down vs e.g. a flat on the back pose.
UI
If a sub window is open (hard colliders configuration or a physics parameter) and you navigate to another tab, the sub window is now still open when you navigate back. This is consistent with closing and opening the plugin UI.
Rearranged sliders on the right side, this layout is better use of the available space, and it's better that the info text is right below the header. There's still a lot of empty areas though that need content or a bit of rearrangement.
Hard colliders
Hard colliders are now always enabled when the plugin is active. Their effect can be easily reduced with the Base Force Multiplier slider if desired.
Using external triggers
The plugin now reacts correctly when parameters are adjusted with triggers external to the plugin. For example, adjusting softness with a button or a Timeline trigger correctly starts recalibration as if the value was changed from the plugin UI. (This was added in alpha 4.)
Currently known issues
- adjusting a clothing item's "Breast Spring/Damper Multiplier" slider has no effect because the plugin circumvents VAM's normal way of applying physics settings; proper support for automatic clothing adjustments is planned to be added later
- when loading a new version of the plugin for the first time and VAM asks you for permission, the plugin might not load entirely correctly - just reload it after that first time
- toggling the plugin on/off repeatedly can cause it to get stuck in a recalibration loop, reloading the plugin fixes this
- breast mass calculation assumes person atom scale is 1.000 (default)
- using a physics rate higher than 60hz apparently makes hard colliders more responsive, in a future update I will make the collision force dependent on physics rate to keep it consistent
- changing skin to that of a male or futa character (or to female if the character is currently male) requires reloading the plugin, this should ideally work "on the fly"
- saving a plugin preset and loading that preset on a different person atom, then disabling or removing the plugin has the unexpected effect that the original person atom's original F Breast Physics settings are restored on the current person atom - this is a low impact edge case, but good to know
As always, if you notice something off, let me know! I probably don't yet know about it if it's not on this list.
Upcoming
In the next update I will play around with the dynamic adjustment of hard collider attributes and of soft physics settings per breast in response to the breast's movement away from the calibrated neutral position. With any luck, some of those dynamic adjustments prove useful!

Comments
Looks like this update broke loading from a save - to fix, click Calculate Breast Mass once and you're good to go. Will be fixed in the next update.
