Naturalis v1.4-alpha5 (78.var)
Added 2024-06-03 11:31:38 +0000 UTCThis release includes fixes/QOL updates and some UI changes.
Updated main tab layout
I updated the main tab layouts of TittyMagic, BootyMagic and PussyMagic to make better use of the available space. The Naturalis user preferences button is split into separate General and Calibration preferences buttons, and the Preferences & More section can fit some additional content later.
Other changes in this view
The advanced soft physics help texts mention the performance cost of each feature.
Advanced soft physics toggles can be clicked even if soft physics is off, the toggles just look greyed out
the Softness (Soft Physics) slider will be greyed out if soft physics is off (but as with the advanced soft physics toggles, it's still interctable)

Updated user preferences
moved the Monitor Morphs And Atom Scale toggle from General preferences to Calibration preferences, since it's fundamentally calibration related
removed all of the "default enabled" user preferences for advanced soft physics features
in the main tab, Mesh pressure is on by default, the rest are off by default
you can manage custom defaults with your TittyMagic/PussyMagic/BootyMagic default presets
the user preferences views fill the entire plugin UI and hide the tab navigation
Fixes/other
fixed performance issue where solver iterations ("physics quality") was being forced to minimum 2x the normal value for pectoral and glute joints; this fix should improve by a few fps when CPU limited
fixed issue where opening the TittyMagic/BootyMagic plugin UI immediately after adding the plugin (before first calibration has time to start) could cause joint mass to get stuck to the minimum value
the mass slider in the main tab as well as physics parameter offset sliders in general are no longer interactable during ongoing calibration
Shapeshift Bone Offsets sliders are also not interactable during ongoing calibration
prevent syncing bone offsets to the atom when the sliders are adjusted while Shapeshift is disabled (will be synced when enabled)
adjusting bone offsets of breast or glute region bones in Shapeshift can now set calibration to pending (the bones transform the mesh using the built in skinning weights of the model in VAM)
fixed issue where the gizmo/handle used to visualize the position of the bone in Shapeshift would render in world 0,0,0 position when the plugin UI was opened
Shapeshift preset area Reset button now correctly resets to the default configurations for morphs and bone offsets
Removed BootyMagic's unused/disabled morphs from the var package
Note: calibration caching of TittyMagic and BootyMagic calibration results generated while chest/hip region bones have been offset in Shapeshift is untested. There might be issues such as distorted morphs when those cached results are loaded and the bone offsets are not actually in use... The relevant offsets will probably need to be stored into the cache alongside BootyMagic / TittyMagic data. It's also it's likely that in the future, v1.4 will not always be able to use cached results generated with v1.3.

Comments
Forgot to mention that the Physics Quality setting is also removed from the user preferences, it's just too low impact visually and costs too much fps. It would be possible to create a separate plugin for adjusting physics quality separately for different parts of the body and different objects in the scene, this would allow much more granular control than the VAM user preferences High Quality Physics setting which just toggles between 1x and 5x solver iterations count for everything in the scene.
