The new breast pose morphs for Naturalis will be built around custom reference shapes. These are created using built in VaM morphs as a rough starting point, and heavily edited in Blender & Daz3D.
The main issue I've found with built in morphs as well as existing custom breast morphs is the lack of a realistic looking under curve. In the custom reference shape, the under curve starts from a sharp skin fold that causes the breast to look like it's naturally resting on the ribcage. Having a realistic under curve is important for creating morphs which accurately smooth out the under curve when the breast is tilted up. The video shows the difference between the reference morph and the VaM slider morph that I used as a starting point.
It's important to use custom base shapes that are purpose built for specific breast types. There's obviously a lot you can do using built in morphs, but combining them doesn't necessarily result in a realistic shape.
There's a wide range of possible breast shapes and sizes, so I will need multiple reference morphs to act as baseline shapes for pose morphs. Combining different sets will then accommodate almost any shape and size . Creating not just the reference shapes but also all of the pose morphs is quite a big undertaking. The same task also exists for glutes as the current g-force morphs are using the default Genesis 2 female as the base shape. However glutes have less variability in shape and size, the overall shape is simpler, so it's not very important to have custom reference glute shapes.
The reason I'm starting with a medium size and slightly saggy morph is it probably has the widest applicability to existing looks - i.e. pose morphs based on this shape should work well with breasts that are slightly smaller or larger, slightly more or less saggy, etc. Here's what it looks like in VaM:
(front)

(inner)

(outer)

Next up - g-force morphs based on this reference shape :)
