La vie en rose has been my most replayed song off the album. Why is it getting better each time I listen to it!

Crazy that the first time Sakura got a korean teacher was Hybe! You are probably correct. I should just give up on the whole bias thing in general because i think there is only one group that I have a flat out bias in (and has been my bias for yearssss). All my other groups I rotate so much I probably should just say I bias the whole group!

Also, you are correct on you won’t be able to listen to as we dream once u get to know the members more.
When Sakura graduated HKT48 right after IZONE D a few months after. She and Nako sang As We Dream together During her GradCon. It was a mess and i cried.
You can find an upload of her whole grad concert on YouTube, but it doesn’t have subs for it.
Funny enough the venue that held Sakura’s GradCon is the one the Fimmies will be hosting their Fanmeet on 2 stops for the Japan leg of the Fanmeet Tour. So it will be the first time she’s been back since graduating. And she’ll be able to share memories w the members.
As for Bias wreckers or bias that’s hard because all of them are soo lovable. I think Sakura/hitomi/nako will be a problem because they don’t understand Korean at all. So watching their journey to learn it over the course of content. It will be heartwarming seeing their personalities flourish. They didn’t have a teacher for it at all. They had learn the language in free time when not practicing etc. And help from the members.
The first time Sakura gets a teacher for Korean is when she enters Hybe.
Yujin/wony - the maknaes and chaotic ones at that. It’s refreshing to be able see the growth from produce48-izone-I’ve. I’m glad they were able to be kids and their age in izone. It’s rare for maknaes to be able to act their age in groups. Wonyoung has always had a level of professionalism since being young.
I always like to say since she debuted at 14, but got thrust into the public on pd48 13. That she is like the Korean version of Sakura who debuted at 13 in 2011.
Each member is special as you know. I don’t want to give too much away from u seeing them.
I think you may become OT12 like me. Like I’m OT5 FIMMIES

That’s the same timeline for me. I discovered LE SSERAFIM and when looking up the bio of the members I saw chaewon and Sakura in izone. So I decided to Deep Dive both groups at the same time. I honestly don’t know how I managed that. But, in doing so and izone/the fimmies being my two ULT’s with I’ve being a tentative up their. I try my best to support the members post izone. It’s harder for nako because she’s now an actress and hitomi just parted ways w her Japanese management. Rumor is she might make a cb in Korea as an idol. Anyways, it’s hard for me to get into new groups or watch content for them because izone/fimmies have a hold on me lol. U will understand when u get into their content. Anyways, thanks for the videos.
Hope you have a lovely weekend and upcoming week!

Since you mentioned it in the video too - IVE recently just made a comeback and while I don't particularly follow them, do check out their title track!
EXY, the leader of WJSN (That Yeoreum is in + Luda & Soobin from the Girl's Re:verse song I recommended in FF) is one of the lyricist for their title track. She has over 70 song writing credits and she's also very close with Eunbi (Both '95 liners and I believe they were high school classmates)

And to add on for the last song (As we dream), you're right to say that it'll be a song that's hard to listen to when you get to IZ*ONE content. And just in general it's a song that is so emotional when you think about not just these 12 girls but everyone who was in PD48.
Chaeyeon's line: "Even though we're saying our last farewells. I'll wait, let's become the light and meet again."
I discovered IZ*ONE and LE SSERAFIM at the same time so all I could think about when I first sat down and really looked at the lyrics was Yunjin meeting Chaewon & Sakura again after saying goodbye all those years ago. And also the other participants who later debut in the same group like Everglow, Rocket Punch and LIGHTSUM. And overall those who managed to debut after being eliminated in PD48, they all became a light and have their dreams come true

The last 3 songs are indeed from PD48, IZ*ONE version~ Remember when I said you would have cried even harder if you had watched the performance of that last song with lyrics during the finale hahaha It's a song that just hits the spot

Line distribution wise hm..it's never an easy subject and like you said it's natural a group to have vocalists getting more lines than others who are in dance or even visual positions. IZ*ONE had 1 main vocalist and 5 lead vocalists so that's already half of the group that the majority of the lines would go to. And then we have Minju, Nako and Hitomi that usually gets the hook or raps. I'd say Sakura and Hyewon were the 2 who probably got the least lines across their whole discography but they have their moments too

And in terms of their dancing - there was actually an AI analysis done up for 4th Gen girl groups and IZ*ONE was no.1 in being the most synchronized. Imagine how hard they had to practice for their performances especially with 12 members. It was shown before that when they go for practice, they'd record themselves and go over the video frame by frame with Eunbi pointing out the mistakes and what to work on for each members

La vie en rose is the 1st installment to their Flower Trilogy. The choreography of the next 2 title tracks are equally elegant with hand movments.gestures that ressembles flowers blooming. It's basically their signature element.
And fun fact - It was also Yena's first time as a rapper and essentially how they discovered that she is their ace hahahaha

You absolutely nailed it with describing IZ*ONE's music. There is cuteness that doesn't go overboard and also a tinge of girl crush energy to some songs. And this is just their debut album so it only gets better down the line

I will definitely go ahead and include live performance videos for the subsequent album listens! I wasn't sure how you'd want to go about with it so I figured I would give you the showcon videos first hehehe
