Then when I started listening to her music, at first I really was not the type of person who listen to something I don't understand, but for some reason, her music is calming to say the least. Highly suggest watching Running Man especially when they have idol guests... Maybe start with Twice episodes or any episodes with idols as guest. You'll definitely be surprised what 2nd gen idols are capable of doing... I can't imaging current gen idols nowadays or any company would allow their idols to guest if they have the same concept as before...

But yes, I started I think the first subbing team for Red Velvet with 3 others and it slowly expanded from there. For LSFM's We Got So Much video that you reacted to, I subbed the video with english lyrics hahaha I'm actually working on some IZ*ONE content at a very slow pace currently, it'll be part of the tail-end of our IZ*ONE journey

2024-09-08 19:09:21 +0000 UTCKPOP was already huge in our country back in early 2000's. I might have even listened to some songs not realizing back then that it was KPOP. In hindsight, I think Nobody by Wondergirls is the first KPOP song I've heard since it was huge in our country back then. I only really recognized KPOP around 2018. It was 2019, IU came to our country for her Love Poem concert and it was all over the news. I was curious and tried searching about her. On initial search, she has an ongoing drama back then (Hotel del Luna) but I decided to watch one of her completed drama which was My Mister. And I was so impressed with her on the role. Then I tried to start watching all her content, variety show guesting and among all the guesting she had, I got hooked on Running Man. Her episodes on Running Man was so much fun. It was already the start of pandemic during this time and with not much to do, I binged episodes of Running Man which eventually got me to the episodes where TWICE are guests. There were multiple episodes of Running Man with Twice and all were fun and saw that they were a fun group. For some reason I gravitated towards TWICE. So while listening to IU, I started listening to TWICE as well and then all was history. IU opened the door for me, Running Man introduced me to TWICE and all of them got me through the pandemic...

Earth Arcade happened to be running, and I had heard of most of the cast especially Yujin since I had came back into the kpop fandom & was a stan of WJSN who is IVE's senior. Loved what I saw from the show, decided to look into Yujin and discovered IZ*ONE from there. I hadn't heard or watched anything from them, but I knew that there was a group call LE SSERAFIM, so when I saw that Yujin was ex-teammates with 2 current LSFM members I just have to check out the group. Got hooked, thought about how I had always been getting into groups late into their career (e.g. WJSN in their 6th year) - I told myself why wait and just deep dived into all things LSFM. And here I am now, recommending contents and sponsoring them so more could discover the chaos of our 5 girls hahahaha

Started watching specifically on the segments with SNSD's Seohyun & CN Blue's Yonghwa, which in turn got me hooked on kpop and having SNSD as the first group I stan. I had 2 bias in SNSD at that time and one of them was Jessica who got kicked out in 2014 so naturally (?) I slowly fell out of love with the group. By then, Red Velvet was making a comeback with "Ice Cream Cake" and I thought since they're from SM too, I might as well check them out. That turned me into their fan and subsequently founded the subbing team for the group with 3 others (RevelupSubs), I say with much pride. As time goes by, I just got too busy with school work and had to hit pause with kpop at around 2018 - which meant I missed the debut of IZ*ONE 🥹

I kind of mentioning it to her whenever I have a chance.. just randomly & she will laugh at me cause I'm like a broken record.. 2024-09-08 00:43:32 +0000 UTCI've always liked watching anime, in 2022 I watched "One Piece Film Red", the soundtrack for this film was sung by ADO, a Japanese singer, since then I've been following her work and in 2023 Ado together with Le Sserafim made a collab, which was the japanese version of unforgiven, from then on I started following Le Sserafim, and really loved them to the point of diving deeper into the world of K-pop.

And of course I looked them up starting with Chase Me and fell in love with them. In my younger years I used to’listen to Bon Jovi, Europe, Heart and later Evanescence. My late Japanese-Filipino girlfriend introduced me to JPop and Japanese Music in general during our middle school days. Naturally I'll became a fan of Japanese metal and rock bands like BABYMETAL, X Japan, Maximum the Hormone, Band-Maid, ONE OK ROCK, and King Gnu to name a few. I listen to Japanese idol groups Nogizaka46 and Morning Musume because of her. Sakura Gakuin because of Ayami Muto and BABYMETAL. I'm a Filipino and in the Philippines but I mostly consume Japanese entertainment. At that time I only knew about KPop if they became a hit in Japan. KARA was huge in Japan that time. They are the first KPop group that I listened to. In 2015 I watch a random Japanese show, one of the guest is talking about watching a Korean reality show that she watches. She says that one of the girls (Momo) there is great at dancing and is Japanese. And three Japanese (MiSaMo) are competing to be a member of a group. The show she is watching is called Sixteen. I became interested but did not jump into watching it. Then within the same week one of my friends that is based in Taiwan keeps messaging me about Sixteen. Because Tzuyu is viral there for days. That's when I started watching Sixteen. I think it's episode 5 or 4 that's airing then when I watched it. The rest is history. TWICE has been my Ult KPop group since then, supporting them whenever and whatever I can.

2024-09-07 23:49:37 +0000 UTCi had some friends who were really into kpop so when we got together, they would show me music videos from groups like twice, bts, bp, rv, skz and txt, but i never felt like listening on my own. then one day i was having a bad day really anxious and nothing was helping me distract myself, not tv shows or movies, so i thought 'kpop mvs always have so much stuff, i'll give a try' i started watching random videos from the groups my friends had shown me before and idk what happened, but i just couldn't stop watching twice 😂 i mostly only listen to twice and dreamcatcher

In addition, I wasn't interested in idols at that time. I was so busy playing basketball that I didn't have time, but I finally learned to use my time for my hobby when I took the college entrance exam. At that time, a music video of Feel special came out as a YouTube recommendation and I watched the video, and the shock was so quick that I was captivated by them. I was already into BLACKPINK at that time, but after learning about TWICE's charms, I only saw them.😂 And I liked basic female artists, so I didn't know anything about male idol groups. JYP's group was all rooting for me, so I gradually became curious about JYP's male idol group and got to know Straykids!! I fell in love with them extraordinarily after watching Maniac's music video.😍

Then bts released boy with luv with halsey and as a halsey stan i of course listened to it and ended up liking it. Listened to bts for like a year before getting into more kpop. Early 2021 i found mamamoo and got into girlgroups and then got to know le sserafim at the end of 2022 and now theyre my ults and theres no looking back.

She told me there's this super beautiful kpop idol I should check out named "Tzuyu" and I was like what's her name, Chewy, like a bubblegum? She said no, it's T-Z-U-Y-U, I was so puzzled at that time bec her name spelled so differently with how she pronounced it. She said she's Taiwanese, it's a long explanation and I will just soon know why once I got into them.. Then she showed me Tzuyu's picture.. and holy guacamole!!! she was so so beautiful!! a goddess/angel from heaven! 😲 I got so interested in her and her group, TWICE, so I check out and went backtrack on everything about them.. and the rest is history!!! 🤗 Up until now, still loving and supporting them to the best that I can.. Making sure to see them whenever I have the opportunity here in PH.. 🥰

The shows Running Man and We Got Married got me in to K-Pop / then real life happened and of course had to prioritize what's important 🥰 When i got to binge watch Running Man again back in 2018 that's when i saw BP and Twice as guests and the rabbit hole started from there 😂

I was a casual listener for a good while untill 2014 when Red Velvet Debuted and they just consumed my soul. Since then 2 other groups have made me feel the same way. Momoland (who sadly are disbanded now) and currently WooAh. But red velvet are my girls I'm super hardcore for them. I still listen to a bunch of groups I'm a full multi Stan but RV changed my life.

My ult groups are Monsta X, A.C.E, GOT7 and P1Harmony but I also really enjoy XDinary Heroes, Enhypen, and Seventeen 😊 Seeing clips of Minhyuk dressed as Dior on Monsta x Ray really sealed MX as top of the list for me 🤣

I never really was ARMY though. And all of a sudden I kept seeing monsta x come up and so I got curious and my first monsta x song was shootout and ever since then I been a monbebe. I got into them in 2108 saw them in concert up front and center in 2019 before wonho left. And they been my group ever since. Hyungwon is my ult bias he Will always be my number one haha. I do like other groups and bands though. But BTS was the reason I got into it and how I found my ult group monsta x :)
