There is no part of this country that could not relate to the overwhelming desire to have a renounced football program in their midst. Even on the high school level. Early on in life children learn the importance of this game with our culture. Boys begin to aspire to play it and become hero's, stars and sensations. Just look at all of the pomp and circumstance surrounding college football traditions and their importance to the local and state communities. We are witnessing a complete resurrection of a program left for dead in Colorado. The notoriety and financial impact of winning at football has resulted in a 15 to 20 million dollar boon to the local economy for home games. The amount of national media who travel there to cover the Buffalo's has multiplied by X10. That's hotel rooms, restaurants visits, car rentals, merch and so much more. I cannot even imagine how much money the NCAA makes off of just college football every season. Tens of billions for sure.
