I have to imagine that it was awesome for these kids to get to work with the man who voiced Darth Vader. Or at least I know that as a massive Star Wars fan I’d have been over the moon

Community was everything in the 50-60 (Movie setting) so it was about connecting with ur friends who generally lived in ur neighborhood.

2023-11-19 20:16:50 +0000 UTCFYI, house numbers don't work the same as in the UK. Their house number of 1556 doesn't mean there are over 1k houses on the street. Numbers are skipped. Their next door neighbor probably has like 1552. Also once you pass an intersection it usually goes up by the next 100. It is possible that 1556 would be the last one in the 1500s and once you pass the intersection the next houses would be in the 1600s

2023-11-19 20:15:48 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite baseball movies. They made a few direct to video sequels, but nothing to match the original’s charm. Btw, in case you might find it interesting, many years back, I started noticing that the same actors appeared in baseball movies again and again. I decided to map out whether I could find an actor linking each baseball movie to at least one other, and I found that from 1973 to 2014 at least, it was true. I stopped maintaining it after Moneyball. But if you want to see how all the baseball movies have a sort of six degrees of separation with each other, you can find a chart at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mtjbPXmIZTdqeitc2QcLZgXYAewvIQ8v/view?usp=drivesdk
