Friday Night Lights S1 E3 - Wind Sprints (Cut Version)

The town turns on coach Taylor following a difficult loss; emotion and frustration culminate in a fight, as the team's injured quarterback begins rehabilitation. We are loving this series so far, let us know your thoughts in the comments 😀

Best high schools do travel across the country to play against one another. It is usually just 1 game and maybe 2 in the season, but they nationally televised and everything

Great reaction. I am assuming the voodoo reference is about his New Orleans roots. New Orleans voodoo is a religion blended from West Africa, Haiti, and Catholicism. It centers on spirits of ancestors and isn't necessarily all evil, but I guess there could be more about exactly why he has that nickname. I havent seen the rest of the show, so I don't really know.

I believe the Voodoo nickname is due to where he was from in Louisiana (near New Orleans). Something to do with an african religion of some sort. And then him obviously being extremely talented it works as a nickname.

Wind sprints, gassers and suicides. Many names, and they all suck.

I’m not judging any characters until i see how the writers develop them, I’m sure we will come to love and despise certain characters as the series progresses! Appreciate your comments 😀

Yeah that one came out of nowhere 😂 definitely too young for that sort of thing!

Also what was that at the end? Suggesting that Tim and Lila should go to a swingers club? I bout lost it. That was the mos hilariously unexpected thing I thought I’d ever hear y’all say. Don’t forget, although this show does touch on s*x and other sensitive issues, it does it with characters who are 15-18 years old LMAO. Don’t thing they could get admitted to such a club.

With time you’ll come to love Tim Rigs. Throughout the whole show, I admired a lot of characters, but Tim was my favorite. He seems like a no good cheatin lyin son-of-a-gun on first impression, but as the show goes on you’ll see all the many, many layers of his character. I saw through the BS right away, and he was the character that I loved throughout the show and had a bigtime crush on watching when I did for the first time (I watched when I was 13). I also relate to him a lot…his background, his ways of doing things, his heart…him and Matt Sarison I related too a lot for different reasons, and you will find both of them very very lovable and start cheering for them with time.
