Good episode. Watching for the first time. As far as the defense looking tired, especially during practice, I think it's important to mention how hot and humid it gets in Mississippi, even into early fall. And I think the editors and producers were highlighting these hot practices to match up with their sluggish play during the actual games. And as a crazy side note -- when Brits call something homely it makes me smile every time, because homely in American English means ugly. What you call homely, we call homey.

2024-05-27 04:23:46 +0000 UTCThe deep south is a real culture shock to most of us, even just from other parts of the US. It's very much the Saudi Arabia of the United States. The hyper religious stuff does make me cringe inside quite a bit, makes it hard to watch honestly. Also, I love that that dude's case getting dropped was a "miracle" and not his lawyer properly doing his job. I sure as shit hope he thanked his lawyer as much as he thanked christ or whoever
