And also she realizes in that moment that he actually has something important to tell her, just by that look. And she probably suspects what it is as well. There is that giant elephant in the room between them and they both don't want to or can't talk about it

It insinuates that Jim being friends with Pam is worse than if they just didn't get along or speak at all. Like yea he's in love with her and can't say it but they're also still legitimately really good friends and that does go both ways. That is not at all the case with Dwight and Michael.

2024-08-20 05:41:09 +0000 UTCGreat episode. I think the joke at the end was that Dwight is to Michael a bit like Jim is to Pam, but Jim can't see it. Their relationship is pretty one sided as well.
