I guess something like Easter medicine and Western medicine. EDIT: at the end that's the "preview for next ep". Most animes as you already know give some shots for the next ep, but frieren put overlapping audios and the title for next ep always at the end.

That last thing you saw is the “preview” for the next episode. We get them at the end of each episode, but like you, I usually avoid them, so you probably didn’t notice until now
