2024-06-28 18:27:50 +0000 UTCAfter watching episode 25 I was initially a little disappointed that the fight was finished so easily, and thought that would be the end of the second test. It felt a little anticlimactic. Thinking about it after, I realized that the flashbacks, lore, things we learned about Frieren and Serie, seeing Fern's growth as a mage, those are the things this show really excels at. It's not a shounen battle anime, it's Frieren, that's part of why I love it so much. I enjoyed everything we got in that episode more than I would have if it was just a crazy fight. Then a week later episode 26 opens with Frieren't summoning a black hole and I had the biggest stupid grin on my face for the whole episode. This anime is incredible.

The girl who fought Fern she DID feel her and this is supposed to be a fern "fighting seriously against someone" No Frieren nor demons could find her that easily but that girl as soon as fern was about to cast a spell she looked to here right. Also at the end when all the copies died has like fast black particles moved to a side but when Frieren kills her copy the particles seem more like the finish of a campfire... the same way as the one she was with the copy of fern which we don't know what happened. I feel like I'm looking too much into it but I think that's what the director had in mind on how to make the anime

Also Frieren is a souls boss, Fern used all her flasks on phase 1 and got wiped by phase 2 no arm Frieren lol. I know it may not be a very unique opinion but the music and sound design literally are so good in this series, i honestly dont want it to end.

2024-06-22 02:11:06 +0000 UTCAnother thing, @18:40 when Frieren’s clone shoots that powerful beam, that’s basically the “old” Soul Track spell. Remember when they fought Qual back in the earlier episodes and he tried that spell against both of them and Fern has to use 2 or 3 defense barriers to block it? That’s the exact same one.

He stated that there wasn't a mage alive that could cast a spell without their mana being detected. Frieren literally just did that. Also, the fact that fern is one of the greatest mages at detect mana, and she still couldn't detect the attack. This show is so deep. I love it.
