And since the libero is never in the front he wouldn't ever rotate to the serving position. The rest of your comment was spot on. In Haikyu the libero switches with the middle blockers (it doesn't have to be the MB, he could technically switch with any player in the backrow, he just has to sit out at least one play before switching in again), which means when for example Hinata rotates to the back to serve, Noya would be rotating to the front, but since he isn't allowed in the front he would go out and Tsukki would go to the frontrow for him. Once Hinatas turn to serve is over, he will go out and Noya will go to the back for him. When Tsukki is up to serve, Noya will go out (since he would rotate to the front) and Hinata goes in for him. When Tsukkis turn to serve is over he will switch with Noya so he's in the back again. And on and on it goes lol

It takes time to introduce each character and allows you to connect with their struggles and their personalities. The humour is great, but the serious bits are also very well written! and in terms of liberos, they're usually the ones in a different colour on the team. they can't be on the offensive side of the court i.e. the front half (in front of the attack line). When your team scores a point, the team rotates in position and the back right player serves. So when the libero rotates to the 'service' position, they swap out with another designated player. Similarly when the libero rotates to the front lines, they have to auto swap out.
