I went into this series blind and being not a huge fan of idol anime but after the first episode I was hooked and the series quickly became one of my favorites! Looking forward to seeing y'alls reactions to it. Also, y'all are one of only a couple of reactors I've seen who caught that we had previously seen the star sand Ai was gifted before she mentions it to the stalker. Very nice observation work!

2024-08-24 13:30:28 +0000 UTCWhen this show came out last year, it was the biggest thing and the posters, trailers & merch were everywhere and all of it was centered around Ai... so having her die like this in the very first ep was 'hilarious' lmao, Bunny Girl Senpai levels of clickbait lol This is prolly my 3rd time watching this episode & I never noticed it until y'all joked about him being a gyno of all things & I may be reading too much into it, but I think there is merit in the idea of him switching his job from one where he saw people slowly decay to one that helps bring new life into the world, after witnessing the death of someone so young. Another thing that went over my head was how Ai sneaked in that "a children's home is still better than getting hit" :/ guess it makes sense why, when her life flashed in front of her eyes, it started from the moment her children were born😭

Her whole thing was about not knowing how to love and that she is a star that believes lies is a form of love as an idol in the entertainment business. Another tidbit the Author of Oshi no Ko is also the author of Kaguya-sama: Love is War.
