Great to see you guys, as usual, very hooked and involved in the show! Always appreciate ya'lls discussions about the shows you watch. Its why your one of my few patreon subs! About the episode... only two things I wanted to mention! Ruby calling their group B Komachi isn't just a nod to Ai's group... It is the same name as Ai's group. By saying they are B Komachi on the internet like that, they've just announced (without talking to their manager first...) that they are reviving B Komachi (not just some random new Idol group). That is both very endearing (Becuz we know Ruby's history with Ai...) but is also extremely risky... because she just invited every old fan to come watch them. It's a great way to get a lot of fans quick... it's also a way to quickly completely kill their potential fanbase if they mess it up. Because now they are also risking tarnishing Ai's legacy for any old fans. Second, when you guys were discussing the Reality Dating Show that Aqua is on you kept mentioning in your thoughts/discussions that "it is scripted". It may not be quite what you meant, but just in case I wanted to just say that the show tries to make very clear that the reality show *isn't* scripted. It's *directed*. It's not that the actors have any predescribed "storylines" to tell with the show but rather that the director is going to make an effort to highlight (And advise) things they can do to make the show better. At the end of the day the actors and crew are what make the reality show.

2024-09-08 17:44:00 +0000 UTCI absolutley agree, it has a lot of plot twist moments that are not so predictable, the show is really enjoyable overall. Remember: it looks like a generic school anime, but it isn't. You will understand directly in episode 1 if you ever react to it!
