In the end, after the artillery opened up the sky, four holes opened, and God's rays shone down like a path to heaven. I forgot where I heard this but some reactor brought up a good point that out of everyone, Shin is the most emotionally sensitive. He's acutely aware of the people and things around him, he doesn't show it much through expressions but through his actions and careful observations.

Basically other 86 carved " Whores Daughter" into her back since her mother was a 86 and her father was a Alba. Like they mention in this episode there is also discrimination and intolerance among the 86 against mixed children or other races like Kaie.
