2024-10-20 23:51:17 +0000 UTC24:25 Ai's surname was revealed in the beginning of the story, it was just never made public in the show. Her name is Hoshino Ai, that's why Aqua and Ruby use "Hoshino" as a surname, instead of "Saitou", their adoptive mother's surname. And the other names can't be Ai's surnames, because in Japan they use only 1 surname.

2024-10-20 18:46:03 +0000 UTCYeah, I do enjoy the visuals of using something similar to his previous life as the manifestation of his PTSD to fan the flames of doubt, trauma, and survivor's guilt. To me, it further adds to how he views his previous life as something almost foreign or something that has started to blend with his current Aqua but still causes emotional and psychological problems almost like an infection in the body at times. I'm really looking forward to all the episodes as we advance from the two of you, should be very exciting.

It was just so fcking cold that scared me in a "silent way" idk how to explain it but it was like damn, that's the "art of horror" 26:03 probably wasn't intentional but in my mind, I think Cara was like... "ok now what do you mean by that???" XD
