2024-10-22 04:45:15 +0000 UTCNot sure if Prez knew this or mentioned it, but TLOK got the shit end of the stick with nickelodeon MULTIPLE times...the reason why the pacing is so much different/faster is because they were only green lit for 1 season of 12 episodes so the writers had to make this storyline happen fast (same with the relationship stuff). Then they did it again with season 2 where they didn't green light multiple seasons right away so they also had to wrap a whole story up in that one as well. And don't even get me started on the budget cuts and how they approved books 3 and 4 then cut the budget when they were in the middle of producing book 4 so instead of laying off staff they decided to save money and do a certain style of episode (which gets SO MUCH hate)...all this as well as the storylines/relationships they weren't allowed to do/show (I'm not sure if Cara reads these so I'm trying to keep it vague lol) I will always appreciate TLOK and the writers for what they gave us..........rant over, sorry lol
