The top 8 teams from the Miyagi prelims join the 8 seeded schools at the Miyagi qualifiers for the 1 Miyagi Nationals spot.(see Takeda's explanation around 16:38) 2) Tokyo will have 3 teams at Nationals. 2 regular representatives due to their size plus 1 extra for hosting.

2024-11-15 15:34:38 +0000 UTCAbout the prefectural matches karasuno only need to win two matches to get into top 8 of the miyagi prefecture. from these 8 teams only one team can qualify to nationals, since tokyo prefecture is hosting the nationals two teams can qualify from there. all the other teams we saw in training will play in tokyo prefectural games to qualify for national tournament.
