I'm glad you dropped the last three episodes today, it's so much fun watching people's reaction to the show edging them for like an episode and half over Lena and Shin meeting. Also small detail that's easy to miss, but if you compare this flashback of Fido memories to the previous one, it's very clear the Federacy upgraded Fido's optic system.

There is a TV Trope called "Earn your happy ending" and this is definitely the perfect example. A lot of blood sweat and tears to get here but def worth it in the end.

The look of confusion in Lena's face when they give her the papers, was because they blacked out the names, so she wouldn't know who they were before they met. I think it was Ernst's idea when he was talking to the other officers about the foreign officer that would come, he probably wanted to surprise her after Shin told him about her.

There are many small details, even until the end. When the Federacy soldiers were pouring soup, they gave extra to the little kid, but the adult got angry. Also, if you noticed last episode, Fido was upside down and the continuity with his montage at the end of this episode with the upside down view of Shin and Lena on the battlefield.
