yes S2 was announced after the final episode aired. I highly recommend reading the LN's. Yuki is even more unhinged than in the anime

2025-03-07 00:46:51 +0000 UTCyeeeahhhh...you guys hit the same sentiment as most of us while this was airing. The show could have been called Yuki Sometimes Hides Her Feelings for Her Brother lol. Alya sadly doesn't really shine as bright in her own show (yet, at least...is S2 announced? Maybe I should read the LN). I will say though, rewatching this with you, I actually like Alya more than I did on the first watch. I still see the same problems as before but I just enjoy her character more this time I guess.

2025-03-06 19:35:14 +0000 UTCI get what ya'll are saying but it is in her character that Alya would struggle with directly showing her feelings. Honestly I really like the banter/teasing the two have and I want Masachika to kind of earn her actually being nice to him a little because frankly he's kind of done her dirty with the entire set up of the show. If it was just a harmless "I don't know how to tell you this" kind of situation thats one thing. But several times hes shown messing with the fact he knows what shes saying. Sooo yeah. I actually think Alya is one of the more interesting characters in the show. Yuki is #2 but it's not for the fanservicey reasons that most of the community seems obssessed with. Like sure, it's funny she breaks the 4th wall a bit but I like the... plotting side of her that you've only just started to see. One of my fav scenes in the whole anime hasn't happened yet but it's a solo scene with Alya/Yuki and i'm excited for ya'll to see the coolest part of Yuki's character really shine. Ayano is a great addition to the cast, looking forward to you guys properly meeting her next ep! I actually think Alya's sister is the least interesting girl in the cast, personally. Literally the only thing going for her is that she has a past connection with our main character... and he doesn't even recognize her. That said... I don't read manga but like the show enough to be interested to see what they do with her character.
