2025-08-05 04:52:50 +0000 UTCPretty much everyone described Ryuen from the light novel pretty well. I will add that it was so funny seeing Ryuen baffled that it was actually ayanokoji. He literally refused to believe it for a while until he saw him fighting. One more thing I want to add is that this is the first time we see ayanokoji misinterpret something. In the light novel when Kei was getting tortured, she made a decision to stop being a parasite and still decided to not tell him Ayanokoji’s identity. But Ayanokoji didn’t realize it at all. He thought she was still a parasite and thought this would make her even more dependent on him. Which is why he waited until the last minute to arrive to have Kei at her breaking point.

2025-08-03 11:57:28 +0000 UTCThings that can't be shown on the anime format regarding one of the reasons why Kiyotaka is easily capable to defeat them is not that he is extremely stronger than Ryuen's group (especially Albert which the novel argue him to be strongest in physical power--well maybe except Koenji and Kiyotaka himself) is that Kiyotaka is very well-trained in fighting to the point he masters and combined different fighting technique and capable to analyze his opponent fighting techniques so he can do the best counter to them. This is also other aspects on why Ryuen can survive longer because he has no fighting skills, only a raw technique from his countless street fighting.
