I like how this arc seems to have some parallels to the first arc of the show, In Mai's arc she was disappearing because she was on hiatus from showbiz and now her being in showbiz is seemingly causing the previous campus celebrity to disappear, based on what Miori was saying at least.

In the books, it makes a big deal at the end of the previous arc to point out that Mai is the only person who didn't have a dream. Also, this episode doesn't make it super clear, but Tomoe saw so many days in her dream because she was running a simulation of the future like she did in the first season.
