大降臨 [The Great Advent]

ここはアメルカ（釆国）。

地平まで続く、かの有名な長い長い直線道路上に、

なんの前触れもなく、それは突如として顕れた。

ズズゥン・・・

大地が揺れ、空が暗くなる。

驚いて道路脇に車を停める人々。

彼らが見上げた空を覆い尽くしていたのは、

巨大な人間だった。

大浦大輔。31歳、曰本人。

身長、約300メートル。

天空にそびえる大巨人となって、大浦はこの地へ降臨した。

おでこに手を当てて、大輔は見渡す。

「・・・どこッスかあ、ここは・・・？

　なんにもない、すごい田舎ッスねえ・・・

　テキトーに『広い場所』って思い浮かべたッスけど、

　やっぱり地図を見ながらのほうが良かったスかねえ・・・」

短髪の頭をボリボリとかく大浦。

空中浮遊能力の練習中に、偶然発見した「瞬間移動」の能力。

頭の中に思い浮かべた場所へワープする力だ。

「ずーっと向こうに、デカそうな街が見えるッスね。

　だいぶ遠いけど・・・まあいいッス。

　たくさん歩けば、ハラもへって丁度いいスよねえ」

160倍の巨人となった大浦の歩幅は、約300メートル。

歩行速度は実に900km/hに達する。

広大なアメルカも、今の大浦にとっては箱庭同然であり、

5時間もあれば大陸横断することができる。

ふと足元を見ると、

道路脇に停まった数台の車から小虫のような人間たちが出てきて、

大浦の巨体にスマホを向けながらギャアギャアと騒いでいた。

ところで、大浦は全裸である。

ついさっき、ジムでの筋トレを終えたばかり。

シャワーを浴びる前に鏡の前でポージングしていて、ふと思ったのだった。

パンプアップしたこのデカい筋肉を、小さな人間に見せつけてやりたい―と。

「ふふん、ありがたく撮るといいッス！

　そして、世界中に拡散させるッスよ・・・」

大浦は、足元の小さな世界を睨みつけた。

「それが、お前たちがこれから死ぬまで崇めつづける、

　神様の姿ッスよ・・・！」

ゴッドレイを浴びる大浦様の神々しさ、すこしは出せたッスかねえ

アメルカは右側通行…手前のバイク、よそ見運転で反対車線に入ってるスよ！

よく見ると跪いてる人間が何人かいるんスが、実際こんな大巨人が現れたら

たぶん何割かの人間は土下座して礼拝してしまうんじゃないかと思うんスよ

やっぱ巨人には「神様」を重ねちゃうッスねえ
