So I've finally dispatched with the covid jab acheyness and dead arm (mostly) and managed to get a TON of grinding done today for the bulk of the 'mechanics' beneath the pretty parts of the tiles :)
As you can see, there's a range of tile types that allow you to make tons of street variations, including some pure road and pure pavement tiles (at the back, less obvious yet!) that let you play with street and pavement width...
You can also see some mountainblock compatible pieces there that will allow you to build rocky plateaus into your cities, among other things, which I am VERY excited about!
I am very happy with how this is all turning out so far :)
