Monthly Checkup #35: Meh New Year

Where have I been? Well, I've been having the usual problem of focusing solely on just commissions. Unfortunately, I was unable to draw something special for Christmas. I was planning on posting it here as an exclusive. Then I couldn't decide if that was the right thing to do, then lost motivation. I'm sorry for that, I know I should be trying harder to make my Patreon something special, but it looks like that isn't going to be the case. At least for awhile longer.
The huge problem is that I simply don't make enough, or get enough money on the spot, for uploading some big project to Patreon. It's usually just a few extra dollars I will manage to get from a few new patrons, who then unsubscribe once they download the work. That is literally only $2.50-$10.00... and you can see how a big project simply just ISN'T worth two dollars. I'd accept $100-$200 for such a thing. Sure, I get about $100 per month from Patreon but I have to wait an entire month for that, and we are talking about how patrons will unsubscribe soon after subscribing to download a copy. This is basically the same as someone buying something on the spot, and because I'm a NSFW creator... PATREON DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO HAVE A STOREFRONT TO SELL DIGITAL GOODS FOR ONE TIME PURCHASES. I still have no damn idea why they don't allow this, and I blame the ragingly stupid conservatives running PayPal or credit card companies... or at least that one anti-porn organization that thinks what I do is the same as sex trafficking ( or is enabling it ) for... some reason?
Sigh, that's enough ranting. I'll try to figure something out. Happy New Year, let's see if we can survive 2025!
