Hey guys! You probably already know about the second book already since it’s been up on Amazon for a while now haha. But it’s you don’t, it comes out on June 3rd and preorders are already available!

Here’s the process of me working on the book cover. You’ll notice that the final art I delivered looks a little different than the final art for the book. The publisher has a team dedicated to making adjustments and reviewing book covers to make sure they’re perfect for print. Mostly it’s adjustments to the colors and contrast. (We also debated having Siren and Kappa look in different directions at first before deciding they would be looking at each other.)

I’ve also learned that it’s important for book covers in a series to look similar in their composition. That’s why some of my first sketches of ideas didn’t work out because they were too different from the composition on the first cover.

It’s been a learning process for me but I’m very happy with how the final cover looks and I think you guys are gonna like how the second book turned out ;)
