Yes, the way this is executed & the boundaries within it makes it safe. And I imagine it’s very thought out & discussed so not to push either person too far. If Knight was suddenly screaming at me for breaking something or forgetting to do something or calling me really degrading names, outside of this context, then I would’ve been triggered. To the point where, if this was a real life scenario, the relationship & trust would have been damaged. It’s the balance of disappointment & praise, tone and context that makes this work. There’s a TW & I can turn this off at any point, which is further solidifies the respect & boundaries. This audio is really well done. Giving us what we want (a yelling audio) while still taking care of & protecting the listener.

For me, there is still safety in this. It never triggers me because it’s not screaming or exploding. It’s firmness if I step out of line, and the tone is very stern. But there is still consent, I know what this dynamic is. It’s almost soothing to have this be the response and I don’t know why.
