making up after an argument

it's impossible for two people who are sharing a life together to see eye to eye all the time. sometimes there are things we might misunderstand or things just get lost in communication. at the end of the day as long as we remember that we love each other and we are on the same team then we will make it.

Never assume - that's a rookie mistake. 😉🤭 Assume makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me" 😉 I love all of the things you say and the way you approach "arguments." I can definitely relate and I very much agree, and I'm sitting here trying to decide whether or not to write an essay about it in the comment section... 😂

So if "communication is key" then here's mine.. Honestly Comment is...a work in progress.my brain always wants to sleep while answering this one (attempt number 9) and I'm not sure why as this is not a hard core subject lol.i think I'm just tired from work so please forgive me knight and fellow commenters.i have a day off tomorrow so I'll sleep on it and the perfect Comment will hopefully occur at some point throughout the day..it really is quite frustrating:(

Did I get unreasonably grumpy to get in character with this audio? Possible

Joy

Yes that was pretty much exactly my experience 🥲. It’s so hard to rewire your brain, and go into disagreements without fear.

Every time you post one of these audios, I’m kinda shocked - in a good way. Like, that’s what healthy communication actually looks like? That was the complete opposite of my house growing up. Yelling, screaming, slamming doors. Or toxic positivity & shoving down “negative” emotions. Thank you for the safety of this, and the vulnerability. It makes me sad that more men don’t confide in each other and be open and honest the way a lot of women are (like you mentioned in this audio). Or that people in general don’t admit to being wrong, sorry or vulnerable. So much is lost in miscommunication, and it can be so exhausting. K, I know you’ve mentioned before that this type of communication wasn’t modeled to you growing up, which makes this even more impressive. Alot of people wouldn’t have the patience, especially in the heat of an argument. That’s proof that change is possible if we put in the work.

Fucking hell I love these And I love these as someone who grew up in homes where this kind of healthy communication just didn't happen. Trying to learn new ways is hard. It's a process. And I've ironically lost some people due to these changes. But hey. They weren't worth it to begin with, right?

It’s just the way he talks, the voice, the tone… my goodness.
