broken glass
Added 2025-04-14 01:36:44 +0000 UTCyou broke a glass in the kitchen reaching for one on the top shelf. instead of calling for me, you tried to clean it up yourself, and of course, thatโs when it happened. the second you step on a piece, i hear you call for me. iโm already moving. i come in, scoop you up and carry you straight to the bedroom. youโre holding onto me, a little shaky, and all i can think about is getting you off your feet. i set you down gently and head to the bathroom for the medical supplies. youโre in good hands now. let me play doctor and take care of you properly.

This is my job at home with my spouse ๐คฃ tweezers and med kit in each room since they're so accident prone (we blame the ADHD) . I'm very gentle with them but I'll dig glass out barehanded on myself ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ

I relate to crawling up on the counter like Spiderman to get high up things. Getting up there is fine. Itโs the coming back down thatโs risky. ๐คฃ๐ ๐๐ Same for changing batteries and light bulbs.
