i’ve been working nonstop for the past few days, and i’m finally home and finally in bed. the only problem is now that i can go to sleep, i find myself completely unable to. you fall asleep no problem at all in my arms. try as i might, i just can’t. my mind is too busy racing, and my body is clearly responding as i shift, trying to find something to help me drift off to sleep. those tiny movements are unfortunately enough to wake you up. you curl into me tightly. the feeling of you snuggling into me, your arms holding me close, might be the secret recipe for me to actually fall asleep tonight.
