That's something i heard a while ago.... It's unbelievable that not ONE of them has seen it. Massive deficit... Needs to be on a poll asap. But nobody would vote for it :/ And it would take a long time to react to. Well at least they watch DW finally.

Wait has no one at Blind Wave seen Buffy? Stop what your doing and watch Buffy.

To my experience most full length has come out the same time or shortly thereafter as early access. However this episode seems to be late.
I don't think they've set up a set schedule for them yet...

Does the full length come out when early access is released or when it is released for everyone on youtube?

Loved it guys. I enjoyed your reaction, the talk, & the show.I wanted to see more but... The way serah Jane smith got into being a part of the doctors life was she sneaked in to Jon Pertwee's tardis to get a storie Like "who is this john smith & what does he add to the team.

Lead to "The Sarah Jane Adventures" (2007-2011) on CBBC. The #1 Show on that network every year it was on. First episode date: January 1, 2007
Final episode date: October 18, 2011 (The Actress Elisabeth Sladen Died in April 2011 so the completed episodes for Series 5 were shown 5 months after her death.)

I wouldn't have necessarily said the classic series was any more Earth-bound than the 2005-onwards one (Pertwee era excepted, of course). If anything, the reverse may actually be true.

Yes Jojo I have the same question. No one mentioned Giles. Have they not seen Buffy? Blind Wave are you reading this, have you not seen Buffy? I know you have lots of shows going on but if you have not seen it then some day we need to get Buffy into your rotation.

Eric is correct about the term "time Lords" it is a title that is earned (with a bag full of privileges such as being able to regenerate ) best way to explain it is this, all Time Lords are gallifreyan but not all gallifrayan's are Time Lords.

I always thought that the doctor links the phone to the Tardis which is why it connects to Rose on the Tardis and also know when to send the call back to Mickey or Jackie.

This is such a lovely episode, and now we have a great reaction to go with it! :D
I love that even though one might not have seen the old stuff, there's still a real emotional hook with Sarah Jane and K-9, you still feel connected to it. And for older fans, like Calvin, it's awesome as well. (I end up tearing up at this episode every time I watch it. Both at K-9's goodbye and Sarah Jane's.)
Also, have none of you seen Buffy?! I couldn't believe no one mentioned we had evil ba Giles! But yes, Anthony Head is such a great actor. Him and David's scene in this is so good.
Glad you're warming up to Mickey! And laughing at Rose's attitude here (like, I love Rose. But. Come on), which I think is the point. I do like that her and Sarah Jane end up bonding some. The part where they both end up laughing at the Doctor is hilarious.
I haven't seen all of The Sarah Jane Adventures, but I've heard good things about it. If it seems interesting, I'd definitely recommend you check it out, even if it's just on your own and not for reaction.
Anyway, now I'm just going to wait until full length as well. Gonna be fun! And then I'm back to looking forward to next week.

There was a period of time where the Doctor was stuck on earth as Time Lords punished him from running away from Gallifrdy with a stolen TARDIS with his granddaughter Susan. The Third Doctor was trapped on earth and even without a time machine for most of his run. However, besides that, they probably did more Planet traveling than the current series. They were always going somewhere new. The first season of classic Who alone has them visiting three new planets.

The Sarah Jane Adventures were 'okay', at least to me. I didn't really like them that much BECAUSE they were targeted towards younger kids. I understood why it was made, and at least appreciated the effort to do the show, it just felt 'flat and lifeless' in general. The sad thing is that Sarah Jane (Elizabeth Sladen) passed away, ending the show and the possibility of bringing back "older" Dr. Who characters being in a 'new' Dr. Who episode. This is especially true with K-9, who actually has his own 'fanbase' of old and new fans.

The time lords are kinda like the watchers from the marvel comics they are ment to be observers not really having any dealings with other planets the doctor is the one who disagrees with them

This episode will forever hold a place in my heart, for being the first episode of Doctor Who I saw. I was immediately sucked in and have loved the show ever since

Also this episode is a lead up to the spin off series The Sarah Jane adventures a very good series but not necessary for watching but something I would definitely recommend anyway. Elizabeth Sladen sadly passed away during the filming for the 5th season so the show was never properly finished but still a good show nonetheless much more for kids then torchwood or doctor who but still good

A fun fact abt the part were Sarah hand and rose are pointing and laughing at the doctor: tennant had drawn glasses and a mustache on his face w/o telling them so the laughter u see there is 100% genuine it's Elizabeth and Billy actually laughing at David
