Yes!This is why everyone kept saying they couldn't wait for you to watch s2.. Bart, Blue Beetle SL, STAR LABS and the missing teens, the metahuman gene SL,Real Roy, Clone Roy, The Alien Invasion, that missing 16 hours that some of JL were missing, and the shocking plot twist at the end of the season. S1 was really good, but S2 was phenomenal!

Aliens "mode" = bad for Earth. Crash the mode is good for heroes.

I can't wait for their reactions on the next "Flash" episode at the end of the season. I love flash episodes.

Yeah, those clicks sounded nothing like the Krolotean gargles.

Slang is weird. Impulse made it clear that "crash" is good, and "the mode" or "moded" is bad. The aliens in this episode (who are NOT Krolotaians, they were all killed at Malina Island) used the same terms, but with the opposite meanings. They were speaking about their control device being "on mode" and all the extraneous fighting threatened to "crash the mode". It was also clear that when Impulse said it, it was slang, but when the aliens said it, they were using official terms to describe quantifiable things, like a computer program crashing. It's probably best to use a real-world example. In the late 80's and early 90's the slang term "that's dope" (to describe something cool or good) became popular immediately after the War on Drugs began. It was a way for rebellious youth to "fight the system" by using a word that the government clearly considered to be bad, as though it were good. So, imagine a future where those aliens are the authority, they are the government. It would make sense for the rebellious youth of that time to use the terms the aliens consider bad as their own. So that's why "crashing the mode" is bad from the aliens standpoint, but something being "crash" is a good thing, from Impulse's stand point. And that's a brief primer of how slang works.

I think they establish in the Smallville Season 11 comic that Bart was in fact from the future...i think.

Young Justice... Episode 6's. 1st season... intro of Artemis.... 2nd season.. Intro of Impulse. In both cases, the "meat" of the season starts to kick in. =) Of course, Episode 7 should be an interesting reaction.
