2017-09-14 16:46:43 +0000 UTCThere were 3 main anglo-saxon kingdoms, Mercia, Wessex and Northumbria. But there were also minor kingdoms, collectively considered the anglo-saxon heptarchy. Also the king of the Britain's is a misleading title, as the britons held seperate kingdoms of their own in cornwall, wales and cumbria.
