I can't wait for you guys to learn the true reason the Reach is on Earth and the term Meatbags. And how the Light doesn't realize they're pawns. I also can't wait for you to see what those missing JL members did and why they are wanted. The rest of this season will pull at your emotions. And Static Shock cartoon came out 2000 and was canceled in 2004. It was apart of the Kids WB line-up. He worked alot with Batman and Team Batman and then JL when needed. And this time jump, the JL and the younger members have grown so you'll hear alot of characters you may not know of and they have some of the ones you know on backburner, to give some of the latest members a bit of storyline then will bring back original members for key storylines.

Fun Fact: The kids in this episode are all modern representations of the Super Friends. Obviously you got Apache Chief, but the others are El Dorado, Samurai, and Static is a stand in for Black Vulcan

I think people were particularly harping on you guys not noticing Static in particular because you had talked about Static Shock in a previous reaction, so they (myself included, honestly) were expecting you guys to realize who he was.

This episode exposes one of my biggest problems with the current CW TV shows.... How 'large organizations' such as Star Labs is changed from a national recognized tech-science company with multiple locations and boils it down to a simple 3-person team at 1 location and a former shell of what it should have been. It's like turning Microsoft from what it is into a single garage group of three buddies.
