I wouldn't even if I could have. The entire thing was so disastrous with the amount of obnoxious fans coming into the light, that by now it's causing a huge generalization, to the point where you can no longer claim to be a Rick & Morty fan publicly, without getting correlated with those sauce animals.

I can tell just from the end of your comment that you are a great employee, and probably person. Instead of bitching about all the people hunting down the sauce, some/many of whom we have seen in videos were probably ultra-obnoxious, you just mentioned feeling bad for having to let people down. I read some article that they’re bringing back the sauce for a limited time later this year because that one day thing did not work out well at all, like 3/4 of the people who waited in line for it in my city didn’t even get the sauce.

I work at McDonald's and our store as well as many others only received one box of the sauce and that box only had like 30 packets and the rest were posters and collectables. Hundreds of people came and waited since 5am just to get it and only to get zip. It was horrible because i had to let down soooo many people. It sucked.

They totally botched the event. Each location listed were only given 20 packets each, some of the locations said they didn't get them (lies) and the ones that did were raffling them off. Of course it's obvious that some employees or stores didn't have any because they kept them to sell on ebay the next day. Some selling for $300. Thankfully McDonalds is supposed to bring it back for a longer period in the future

Yeah the Szechuan sauce thing is something that comes up later (super briefly, like not even a significant thing). Rick and Morty fans went out of control over a limited run of a sauce most of them probably never had or wouldn't have liked, but McDonalds shares a small part of the blame too for doing the promotion to begin with. I have a few other comments about the Szechuan joke, but I'll hold them until the appropriate episode.

Im in Australia so we dont have that promotion but i like hungry jacks better than mcdonals, one gripe is asking for extra mayo in mcdonalds they charge extra for changing the burger unlike hungry jacks who does it for free and in hungry jacks they have free refills of softdrinks /sodas

No, nothing from McDonald's could possibly be good enough to be worth standing in line for. (I'm not a fast food snob or anything--Wendy's, Arby's, and Popeye's are all great--I just really hate McDonald's.)
