Straw man argument - when you 'put words into your opponent's mouth''. You argue against something they haven't actually said.

I thought for sure that you'd recognize Viserys. Did you? Eric's definition of straw man argument is correct.

This the start of probably my favourite run of episodes in all doctor who, with this 2-parter, blink and then the season finale three parter.

I disagree, it is a bit slow moving so I never break it up on rewatch, but I still thought it had some great qualities, like the family

This is probably my favorite 2-parter in modern Doctor Who. I absolutely love it!

This whole story-arch is a tough one for me. I absolutely HATE the 1st part, and can't stand most of the second part.... because it tries TOO HARD to pull at the heart-strings for my tastes. Yet, at the same time, this has one of the most powerful endings in regards to the "Fury of the Time Lord", which makes even MORE impact considering that the story itself bores me. I feel as if the ending of part 2 makes this one of the rare times that a 2-parter must be seen in one sitting like it is a full length movie rather than a TV-show.

It's not that Tim can see an objects history, it's that he can see the future, the vision he seen was him a year from then during WW1.

still love that two game of thrones characters (jojen reed and viserys) were both in the same episode of doctor who!
