"What I Can Do For Now"

My Hero Academia 1x5 Reaction Early Access!

Okay can I take a second to rant about Midoryia? At how he’s dog damn resourceful and clever and also not an ass hat? He’s still sweet and kind and willing to put in everything he has, he’s honest with his feelings, he doesn’t have to man up since he cries a lot, he is a man and a badass and at the same time not that typical macho stereotype of how men should be. I just love how that character is built okay?

Alex Morelli

Oh Shane, if you like anime exposition arc just wait until you get to the current arc of db super.

Gezno

You guys STFU about Tsu, Tsu is the best in this show!

The power is one for all, like the power of one distributed for all the next holders, I know that it’s just a typo but for some reason it really gets on my nerves, anyway good job with the reaction as always

Alex Morelli

And the power is one for all, like the power of one distributed for all the next holders

Alex Morelli

One guy with really big teeth huh. Yeah that'd be pretty messed up haha.

P.A. Master

I approve of the Legion of Doom reference.

Derek Wilson

I love the reaction. Not so much the very cancerous fans who can't take any amount of criticism on the show.

slowly accepting rick :D

watching Aaron claim false statements with utmost confidence if my favorite part of every video!

Aizawa believes in rationality, he mentions it a lot throughout this episode. The point of the tests is to test the students potential, rather than the strength of their quirks. If they have no potential to learn, then rationally there's no point wasting the time to teach them. His opinion on All Might is also rationally based. By having so much media attention, All Might makes it harder to work stealthily, he possibly puts media people in danger if they follow him into danger, that kind of thing, therefore he finds All Might's approach to heroing irrational. It isn't jealousy, it's complete rationality. And Tsuyu (pronounced Tsu) was frog girl.

All for one isn't just strength it's pure physical ability. Durability, endurance, arm strength, leg strength. And if you get it and already have a quirk then you just have that quirk and one for all. Also Aizawa scarfs are technology. They aren't part of his powers

Exactly

The thing with Izawa is that he is training these kids to go and fight villains. Villains who won't think twice about killing them. He knows that if he isn't tough on them, they could end up dead, and if Midoriya can only throw a single punch, he'll only end up weighing down his allies or getting himself killed. Yes he's hard on them but its not just because he's an ass, he understands the danger in the work that these students want to do and is trying to prepare them for the dangers that they're going to end up facing throughout their career.

Anyone know how to watch full length recations, sorry sort of new. (I'm already a 10 patreon)

Hiei-DragonofTheDarknessFlame

Its not wrong, he'll retire from being a hero.

2) I'm not sure that Aizawa or Snape are really 'jealous' per se. More like disapproving of the lifestyle as narcissistic. I don't really see either of them actually wanting the attention or love of the masses.

1) Midoriya's quirk is really difficult to train as it is. He basically might as well be quirkless because of just how high the cost of using it is. If he just tried to muscle through and use it anyway, Aizawa would be correct and it would be better to remove him from the program before he hurt himself and others. Luckily, Midoriya's strength is less in his muscles and more in his tactics, thanks to his analysis.

"retire"??? wow that was played down in the dub
