To be honest I just want her Roy Boy Toy to start hitting the gym and get back into tip top Arsenal shape. I'd be fine with him on Arrow. I'd be fine with him on Legends. I would be fine with him on Teen Titans for all I care - he was a highlight of the early seasons imo and deserves better than a send-off, he deserves a comeback.

As much as I like Thea, I sort of wish the writers had killed her off at the end of last season if not before (maybe her instead of Laurel) to give it a bigger punch. This felt like a whimper to me. A way to let the actress go on with her career but not committing to anything permanent

Thea has consistently hated the idea of going back to vigilantism and refused to pick the hood even in dire situations. Her wanting to go back to vigilantism now at the risk of losing Roy was out nowhere. She didn't hood up for the glades or Star City that her dad fucked over so the whole right their father sins is also from nowhere at least in my opinion. They should have accidentally open the map, help a little and then left for their happy ending while leaving the map to Arrow and Nyssa that do want this life. Rather than than that we had Thea suddenly being obsess to right Malcom legacy at her expense and missing being Speedy.

Speaking of a character who didn’t get a good sign off...man I wish Tigressa could have stuck around. Instead of introducing a new element into the show that could have helped fill in some more of Nyssa’s background they cut all that off at the knees. And slightly treads into ‘Bury The Gays’ Trope territory.

The show didn't not know what to do with her, she just asked to have her written in less episodes, because she had been planning on moving on once her contract was up, that way it wouldn't seem so sudden when they wrote her exit. They also left it so she could come back if she wanted.

It lacked the real notion of "send off" rather more of a, i guess the actress wants another break like the 10 other times over the last 3 seasons. the fact this isn't the first time its happened made it feel like more bad arrow writing. if she wanted to leave, season 5 finale seemed the best way to end her story. but they put her in a coma for a few eps, brought her back, didn't have screen time then she left again.

I feel like it would have been a good send off, and I know it was supposed to be, but it didn’t feel like a send off to me. More like she’ll be back later once these Lazarus Pits become relevant to the story.

I thought it was weird to see Thea want to be Speedy again when she so against it for 2 seasons even when Oliver was in danger. Especially when she absolutely wanted to escape the life just last season. It felt forced way to keep her as Speedy if they need but I'm happy it wasn't also a way to separate her from Roy.

FUN FACT: The dialogue that Oliver and Thea share at the end is the same dialogue they shared when they first saw each other when Oliver came back from the island but reversed. Thea said "I missed you so much" to which Oliver replied "You were with me the whole time" and in this episode Oliver said "I'll miss you so much" to which Thea replied "You'll be with me the whole time"

It was okay...but does leave open to allow the characters to come back for any reason

I wasn't a big fan of her and Roy just retiring and riding off into the sunset, but I like the idea of the two of them joining Nyssa on an important mission. Also, this way they will definitely come back. Extra Lazarus pits are too important not to be mentioned again.

YES but also NO! Yes because it was a fitting way to send her off with a good purpose and a chance to come back later. But no because I’ve always love Thea and hate to see her go! I love Willa as an actress and thought she brought so much to the character especially once she left for Corto Maltese.
